Rio Grande Valley:
A cold front will be pushing through the Rio Grande Valley on Wednesday (4/27), drying out the air for Thursday, with humidity levels rising again Friday afternoon/evening. Temperatures will be hot today! Triple-digit heat for most of Starr County and western Hidalgo County will not be out of question as a dry-line pushes through the area. Please do not do any burning today or tomorrow! Another cold front is forecast to push through sometime on Monday. Details are still being collected as then when or if it will push through the Valley and if there is any rain associated with it. The video below is a brief forecast. Questions and comments always welcome.
Edinburg’s 3-day Forecast:
Here is Edinburg, TX 3-day Forecast. I went with triple-digit temperatures today because of a dry-line that will most likely pass over the area later today. The lack of moisture (from dry-line) in the air allows more heat to be trapped at the surface. The cold front will pass through Wednesday afternoon, decreasing dewpoints and humidity and shifting winds out of the north and northeast. The temperature affects won’t be felt until Wednesday night and into Thursday. The next best chance of rain come on Monday afternoon into next Tuesday as another, stronger front looks to push through the Valley. More on that as it approaches.
